What can qualify
We primarily accept equipment with potential for reuse, refurbishment, parts recovery, or responsible recycling. Every item is reviewed before collection.
Tower and small-form-factor desktops that may still be useful as complete systems, refurbishment candidates, or sources of working parts.
Windows laptops, Chromebooks, and other portable computers in working, partially working, or non-working condition.
Integrated desktop systems with a built-in display, reviewed according to age, condition, and completeness.
Apple desktop and laptop computers that may be reusable, repairable, or suitable for parts recovery.
Compact systems and professional workstations with potential for continued use, repair, upgrades, or parts.
Some computer parts and accessories may qualify when they have practical reuse or responsible recycling value.
Qualification matters
Equipment with severe physical damage, missing major components, contamination, or no practical reuse or recycling value may be declined. Sending photos first helps us make that determination before anyone schedules a trip.
A quick review by message is all it takes to get started.
Text or WhatsApp clear photos, the brand and model if available, whether it powers on, and a brief description of known problems.
We assess the equipment's type, age, condition, completeness, and potential for reuse, refurbishment, parts, or recycling.
If it qualifies, we confirm the pickup fee when applicable and coordinate a convenient collection time.
Accepted equipment is refurbished, repaired, repurposed, used for parts, resold, or sent for appropriate electronics recycling.
What happens next
Our goal is to keep usable technology in service whenever practical and reduce unnecessary electronic waste. The right path depends on each computer's condition.
A useful computer may only need a small repair, storage replacement, memory upgrade, or fresh operating system before it can work again.
Older equipment can sometimes serve a lighter workload or a different purpose instead of being discarded.
Working components can help extend the life of other machines when restoring the complete computer is not practical.
Qualifying equipment may be restored and resold so it can remain in useful service.
Equipment without a practical reuse path may be directed to appropriate electronics recycling.
We review the equipment before scheduling and confirm whether it qualifies, along with any applicable pickup fee.
Pickup starts at $20 and may vary based on your location and distance.
When we are already at your location for a service appointment, we can usually take qualifying computer equipment with us at no additional charge.
